£200 is the cost per head to run an Ataxia weekend conference, packed with information sessions, research updates, children’s sessions, and a chance to meet other families affected by ataxia.

£250 gives a deaf child the opportunity to develop their independence and self-confidence by taking part in an activity holiday.

£500 allows 35 families and professionals a day to get the support they need from the NDCS Freephone Helpline.

£1,000 will enable one family with a deaf child to attend an NDCS family weekend where they can share their experiences with other parents.

£1,200 pays for a junior research to spend a month searching for effective treatments for ataxia.

£4,500 would fund one day’s care at an Acorns Children's Hospice
