Childlife receives regular donations from supporters either by Direct Debit, Continuous Card Payment, Payroll Giving or Standing Order. The majority of donations tend to be monthly although they can be set up for quarterly or annual payments.
Most of the supporters who donate to Childlife through regular donations have been recruited by ‘face-to-face’ fundraising. This is carried out either in public spaces such as town centres or out-of-town stores or via door-to-door visits. This type of fundraising is extremely valuable to Childlife as it allows us to talk about the work of our four charities to people who have not previously been in contact with us.
Even a small, but regular donation over several years can make a huge difference to the charities supported by Childlife. If you are a UK taxpayer, agreeing to Gift Aid your donation can also add a further 25% to your donation without any additional cost to you.
